S.-S.B. was founded in July 1997 by Uwe Strauss-Sommer and Marcus Bögge. The company started out with 3 people in a space of 300 m2.

Thanks to excellent customer response and maintenance & repair contracts with reputable firms in the region and beyond, we had to expand our stock (3-phase motors up to 250 kW, vibration motors, fans, control gear, soft starters, frequency inverters). We built two new workshops, a warehouse and a new office unit.

S.-S.B. GmbH & Co. KG now employs 54 people in a working area of about 2,000 m2.
